Favorite Sleep Products

Finding the perfect gift can be tricky at times. Especially for those of us who prefer and encourage a minimalistic lifestyle. You don’t want to clutter up someone’s house with useless junk, right? So, how about the gift of sleep!! We spend 1/3 of our lives sleeping so we should make sure we have the tools to get the best rest. Check out my list of favorite sleep-related products.

  1. Swannies Blue Light Blocking Glasses - $79

These amazing glasses block the blue light from screens. So, if you are breaking the screen time curfew for that late-night episode of Yellowstone, your melatonin levels will not be as impacted.

  2. Hushh - Travel Noise Machine - $30

This travel-size noise machine (fits easily in your palm) is perfect when you are on the go. I keep mine in my carry-on suitcase at all times so its there anytime I’m ready to jet off.

  3. Dohm - Noise Machine - $45

This is the noise machine that we use at home. Everyone in my household prefers the lower frequency sounds to block out the environmental sounds (furnace turning on / off, the dogs walking around the house, the sound of my husband’s breathing patterns, etc.)

  4. Slumber Pod - Travel tent - $175

I recommend this amazing little tent for all families with babies & toddlers. It pops into place with ease and fits right over a pack-and-play, providing a dark sleep space in any environment. The Slumber Pod even comes with a spot to put a baby monitor and a fan to ensure proper air circulation. It folds up easily and can fit in most carry-on suitcases. Use discount code: Zenslumberpod for a $10 discount.

  5. Silk Pillow Cases - $25

Up your sleep game with a silk pillowcase. Your hair and skin will thank you. Silk pillowcases offer a thermoregulating effect to ensure that you do not overheat. They are hypoallergenic and antibacterial…repelling dust mites with a natural protein in the silk fiber. The softness of the fabric causes less friction and helps the skin retain moisture. Makre sure you find a pillow case with a zipper or envelope enclosure or your pillow will slide out several times during your slumber.

  6. Silk Eye Mask - $30

A dark environment is crucial for good sleep. Light pollution can trigger the body to release awake/alert hormones, wreaking havoc on our sleep cycles. I recommend sleep masks, especially for those that are traveling frequently. Splurge and get the silk sleep masks as these will provide your skin and hair with all of the benefits listed above (silk pillowcase).

  7. Ease Topical Magnesium Spray - $29

Most of us are quite deficient in magnesium. Using topical oil can improve the quality of our sleep tremendously. Magnesium has many benefits including a decrease in inflamation, improving circulation, boosting GABA which improves relaxation / deep sleep, relieves pain, and helps decrease muscle spasms. This is a great product for people with restless leg syndrome. I recommend that you put this product on the bottom of your feet as it can cause an itching/burning sensation when applied to the skin if you are very deficient.

  8. Hatch Rest & Restore - $60 - 130

The Hatch products are a wonderful combo system that provides a noise machine, ok to wake/dawn simulating alarm clock. The Hatch is the machine I recommend for pediatrics and the Restore is best used for teens/adults. Both smart clocks have amazing features that can be controlled right from your phone.

I hope you find these products helpful. Reach out with any questions or tips on getting the best sleep possible for you and your family.
